Prayers for Ethiopia and the
World
Ethiopia, by the Grace of God, is
abundantly rich in religion, culture, and ethnicity as well as
natural resources. But because of our denial and abandonment,
as Ethiopians, of our inherent commitment to the True
Ethiopianness, we are enduring the consequences. We face
problems of spiritual and physical poverty, social, economic,
health crisis, and political strife to the extent of waging
fratricidal wars...
To overcome these man-made
hardships and help Ethiopia reach full potential, we need first
and foremost, complete individual and national, mental and
spiritual revival and renewal, by transforming ourselves from
within through genuine
REPENTANCE that invigorates our wholeness and restores
the integrity in each one of us so that we really be changed for
the better and become True Ethiopians.
So
let's all Ethiopians and those concerned come together, to pray
and fast for three days for the fulfillment of these commitments
that will bring about the Mercy of God.
+ Let us turn our face to God.
+ Let us
forgive each other and then ask God for his forgiveness.
+ Let us pray together for peace that only
God can give.
+ Let us pray
for God's wisdom for our leaders.
+ Let us pray for love and respect of
others.
+ Let us pray
for all people around the World.
+
Let Thy Mercy, O Lord, be upon us, as we have
put our trust in Thee.
